One of the famous thesis of Karl Marx was “Philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it.” Next Thursday I will talk with Orysya Billa, philosopher at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. Apart from a Lvivian feminist thinker Orysya Bila is as practitioner working on moral issues of curbing corruption an improving integrity of government in Ukraine. Working with civil servants she proved time after time the power of critical thinking when it comes to changing frames of mind. With her I will of course discuss the actual situation on the ground in Ukraine and the question what philosophy can do to stop the war.
