In 2004 the German historian Karl Schlögel wrote ‘The future of Europe will be decided in Kyiv and Lviv.“ Tonight we discuss a similar question – “Ukraine and the future of Europe” – with Vittorio Hösle and Yaroslav Hrytsak. Vittorio Hösle is philosopher and Paul G. Kimball Professor of Arts and Letters at the University of Notre Dame. Among other important books he published Russland 1917-2017. Kultur, Selbstbild und Gefahr. Yaroslav Hrytsak is Doctor of Historical Sciences and professor at the Ukraine Catholic University. He published recently a global history of Ukraine.
